The isolation cabin fever has been setting in for many around Australia and the world. No matter how many Online Burlesque Classes you might be doing, there’s probably a part of you that is sick of binge watching Netflix, Stan, or Disney + and just want to watch some burlesque. Alyssa Kitt is one of Australia’s leading sex positive performers and activists. She is cracking open her golden notebooks and reading some of her very own naughty non-fiction. Join Alyssa on Zoom for her reading of her very first piece of self-love erotica, then a hosted discussion about skin hunger during isolation and a Q&A fostering ongoing sexual-self connection! Currently it’s a one off show, but I won’t be surprised if this becomes a regular late night fixture.
A fun concept created by Brisbane’s Lydia Grim, the Burlesque Blender is an opportunity to show off your creative flair. Each week a song is chosen and cut up in to 15-20 second segments. Participants can volunteer to create a video performance to a section of the song, which at the end of the week is edited back together to create one performance art piece to the whole song, and shared in The Burlesque Blender group. It’s just for fun and let’s performers create!
Request to join The Burlesque Blender facebook group to watch past songs and put your hand up to participate if you want.
