Mae gets to live out her dreams of a big white wedding on stage for your entertainment. The vision of a 1980s meringue wedding dress and an exuberant Mae sets the scene for the perfect wedding day. A sing and strip act, Mae speaks and sings throughout the act as her special day doesn’t go quite to plan. This act guarantees to get the audience going, singing along and reacting to Mae’s plight. A humorous, storytelling performance, this act helped Mae with the title of Australian Burlesque Beauty at the 2018 Australian Amateur Performance Competition.

Starting out as a traditional burlesque act in sparkling evening gown and decadent fur stole, this upbeat and classic burlesque plays out to classic big band rendition of Dream a Little Dream of Me as Mae returns from a night at the Opera. But her night takes a turn as a spell is cast and Mae’s inner ghoul is revealed to tantalise and tease the audience.

A sing and strip act delivering a vintage Vegas vibe, presented in a full ball gown with the aid of a wireless headset microphone, Mae sings her way through a bawdy upbeat rendition of ‘Stuff Like That There’ with it’s suggestive lyrics and stripping away the glamorous dress to reveal sparkling adorned underpinnings.

A big and popular Neo burlesque act opening with pop remix of Elvis Presley’s A Little Less Conversation, Mae bursts on to stage as an Elvis impersonator to entertain the crowd. With her energetic and comical performance taking over the stage, disaster strikes as her Elvis costume fails and she needs to draw upon her Vegas style performance roots to step up as a Showgirl and save the day. A high energy, fun act that will have the audience in stiches with laughter.

Only available in Winter, or in colder climates, Mae de la Rue takes to the stage to reveal she has forgotten her costume for her performance. She must beg, borrow and steal items of clothing from the audience to piece together a costume and allow the show to begin. An amusing act with great audience participation.

Drawing on the classic moves of burlesque but with a strong storytelling narrative, this act can be sung live, or with a backing track. Set in World War II, Mae portrays a nurse returning home form work, writing a letter to her sweetheart who is an officer in the Army. This is a non-full reveal act (only partial nudity) and would suit themed occasions, or events requiring only some strip elements.
